Shipping & Delivery

 

White Glove Delivery — The March Legend Standard

March Legend® provides complimentary White Glove Delivery directly to most street addresses within the continental United States.

In some cases, we offer reduced shipping arrangements depending on location and delivery conditions.

White Glove Delivery includes:

• In-home placement

• Careful handling

• Professional transport

• Packaging removal

Certain situations may require additional charges, including:

• Remote or limited-access areas

• Deliveries above two stories without elevator access

• Hoisting through windows or specialty placement conditions

If your delivery requires special arrangements, please contact us for a detailed quote prior to shipment.

We do not ship to APO or P.O. Box addresses.

 

 

 

Additional Shipping Methods

 

Depending on the piece and delivery address, we may ship via:

• USPS

• Curbside standard freight

• In-home White Glove Delivery

Customers may arrange their own freight carrier if preferred. Please note that freight companies and their employees are independent third parties and are not affiliated with March Legend®.

 

 

 

Please Measure Carefully

 

Each piece is handmade to order.

We strongly recommend measuring:

• Doorways

• Hallways

• Staircases

• Elevators

• Tight interior turns

March Legend® cannot be responsible for custom furniture that does not pass through entryways or access points. If you’re unsure, we’re happy to help you determine proper sizing before production begins.

 

 

 

Transit Timing & Responsibilities

 

Once your piece leaves our workshop, transit timing is beyond our control.

Furniture typically leaves and arrives promptly; however, unforeseen circumstances such as scheduling conflicts, weather, routing adjustments, or delivery location issues can arise.

While we coordinate delivery with experienced freight and White Glove carriers, March Legend® cannot guarantee exact arrival dates once the item is in transit.

Shipping charge increases, in-bound or out-bound freight adjustments, and any additional carrier fees are the responsibility of the customer.

All shipping and return shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

 

Arrival, Inspection & Damage Policy

 

Our furniture undergoes:

A rigorous inspection in our workshop

A second inspection by White Glove personnel before outgoing shipment

Despite careful handling, freight movement involves transport risks. While carriers handle items prudently, damages can occur.

March Legend® cannot be responsible for shipping damages and asks all customers to inspect furniture immediately upon delivery.

If damage is present:

• Inspect while delivery personnel are on site

• Document all damage on the Bill of Lading before signing

• Include specific notes regarding furniture damage and any exterior packaging damage

• Take photos if possible

The Bill of Lading is a legal document. All substantial damages or defects must be written on the document prior to signing.

If significant damage is visible, we ask customers to refuse the item to allow the fastest repair or replacement process.

If immediate inspection is not possible, contact us promptly and provide detailed documentation and photos so we can evaluate the situation.

 

 

Remedies & Repair Timeline

 

March Legend® will work diligently to expedite a remedy for damaged or defective items.

Depending on severity, repairs or replacement may take approximately 3 to 8 weeks.

We understand waiting can be difficult after your initial lead time, but proper restoration requires time and craftsmanship. We appreciate your patience as we remedy the situation appropriately.

Returns & Cancellations

Because each piece is handmade to order:

• Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun

• We do not accept returns due to change of mind

• Custom-built items are final sale

If an item arrives defective and is properly documented at delivery, we will repair or replace the piece at our discretion.

Lifetime Workmanship Guarantee

 

This guarantee covers structural integrity and craftsmanship under normal residential use.

Because solid wood is a natural material, it responds to its environment. Variations in grain, knots, mineral streaks, movement, and slight shifts due to humidity or climate are natural characteristics and not considered defects.

We are happy to provide guidance on proper environmental conditions to help your furniture age beautifully.

 

 

Limited Material Warranty

 

The following components carry a one-year warranty for residential use:

• Fabrics
• Rush seating
• Leather
• Cushioning
• Chairs

 

This warranty does not apply to:

• Customer-requested wood species
• Custom finishes or specialty finishes
• Special modifications
• Shipping charges

 

 

Delivery & Damage Responsibility

 

If furniture arrives damaged or defective and is not noted on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery, and is signed for without notation, the customer assumes responsibility for any resulting shipping or return charges.

All damages must be documented on the Bill of Lading before it is signed. The Bill of Lading is a legal document.

Failure to document damage upon delivery may void freight claims.

 

 

Cancellation Policy

 

Because each piece is made to order:

• Orders are non-returnable and non-refundable except in the case of verified factory defects.

Cancellation terms are as follows:

• Orders may be canceled within 2 days of purchase for a full refund.
• After 2 days, the 50% deposit is forfeited.
• Once production has begun, orders are non-cancelable, and no refunds will be issued.

 

 

Returns

 

Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs.

If an item is returned in a condition other than its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Authorized refunds will be processed within 7 working days.

 

 

Important Note on Custom Orders

 

Our furniture is handcrafted specifically for each client. For that reason:

• Made-to-order furniture is non-cancelable once production begins
• Custom-built pieces are non-returnable
• Custom pieces are non-refundable except in the event of factory-confirmed defects

We encourage clients to confirm dimensions, finishes, and materials carefully prior to purchase. We are always available to assist before your order enters production.
