  • Distressing Options

Each March Legend piece is handcrafted and finished to order. Choose the level of distressing that best complements your home, from a clean, freshly finished appearance to the character of a well-loved antique.

    None – No Distressing

No intentional distressing is added. Natural wood grain and characteristics remain visible, creating a clean, timeless appearance.

    Spring – Light Distressing

Subtle signs of age, including occasional wormholes, small dings, and gentle wear along edges and corners on painted finishes.

    Summer – Medium Distressing

A more noticeable aged appearance featuring additional wormholes, dings, and character marks. Painted finishes feature moderate rub-through along edges and areas of natural wear.

    Winter – Heavy Distressing

Our most pronounced antique appearance, featuring abundant character marks, wormholes, dings, and heavier wear. Painted finishes feature more extensive rub-through for an authentically timeworn look.

    A Note About Stained Finishes

Distressing on stained furniture emphasizes the natural character of the wood through wormholes, dings, scratches, and indentations rather than painted-edge rub-through.

Because each piece is distressed by hand, the placement and appearance of character marks will naturally vary, making every cabinet uniquely yours.
